I just looked on Blockbuster, where I rent DVD’s from, and I was wondering why the didn’t send out Vol. 6 of Stargate Atlantis Season 2 on Friday when they sent 4 & 5. I looked in my list and it wasn’t there so I searched for it to add it…..there are only 5 volumes! So basically I watched the season finale on Saturday night and didn’t realize it. Quite annoying since I could’ve been watching Season 3 in the meantime.

The first trailer for CoD4 aired on Saturday and wow it looks amazing! Hopefully the gameplay can keep up with the visuals. It’s being developed by the guys who did CoD2 so it should be pretty good.

Apple posted a software update for the batteries in Macbook and Macbook Pro’s that is supposed to fix ‘performance issues’. However on the Apple Support Page it says if your battery is low after less than 300 cycles you should take it to an Apple Store. Well my battery health is at 88% after only 199 cycles so I think that’s pretty bad so I’m gonna take it to the Apple Authorised Service Provider tomorrow cos the palmrest is also a bit dirty looking and I wanna know if I can get it changed for free under my warranty.

I’m going to see Maximo Park! Tim and I are going to see them in Seattle on the 22nd July and since this is their first US tour, hopefully it won’t be too packed out so we can get right down the front I can’t wait!

I watched 2 whole discs of Stargate Atlantis Season 2, it’s so good. But now I’m not gonna get the last disc till Tuesday But at least I have Season 3 downloaded so I can watch that.

I’m also downloading The Unit Season 1, it looks quite good. I’m downloading Smokin’ Aces too cos I remember seeing the adverts for it and it looks like a fun movie.

I was walking through town on Thursday afternoon with Paula and co. when I saw this scrawled in the cement. Strange huh?

Apple have finally confirmed that Europe will definitely get iTunes movie, though nothing has been mentioned about TV shows, downloads from the iTunes store later this year. Since Apple TV is basically useless without it right now I’d say the sooner they get it out, the better for them.

Apple also confirmed that a Glasgow store is being built though there was no mention of when it would open. I doubt it’ll be before I go to Seattle though I would’ve liked to go to the opening.

I’m 104 pages into Mary Doria Russell’s The Sparrow and so far I am really enjoying it, the initial timeline jumping is a bit jarring but it makes sense after a few chapter. I’m interested to see where it is going and how it is going to end.

All the book shops in town have Karin Slaughter’s new book Triptych half price at £3.49 and since I really enjoyed Faithless I think I am going to pick it up while it is cheap.
