New setup
I went to the Apple Store today and bought the mini-DVI to VGA cable to connect my monitor to my Macbook. I also bought the new iMac keyboard that was released early last month.
Having two monitors is pretty sweet. My MacBook screen is a good size for being portable but when you are running it as a desktop (which is pretty much 95% of how I use it) it’s not the best. But now I have my old Dell 17 inch monitor running alongside my 13 inch monitor and hopefully soon will have a 26 inch for gaming on. Yey.
The keyboard I love. It’s thin, the keys are familiar because they are the MacBook’s keys but all the extra keys just make it that much better. There’s a full number keypad, iTunes play/pause, next track, last track, volume controls, screen brightness controls, a dashboard button and exposé button and then 9 programmable keys. It also has 2 USB ports on it which you can attach things to which is always handy.
