It’s been a really weird but really nice Christmas Day so far. Firstly I didn’t get up till 10:30am, very unusual for me. We opened our stockings at around 11:30, I got some red vines and jolly ranchers, a milky way, Phase 10 (yay!), a beanie hat, a new toothbrush head, plasters, moisturizer and floss. We played games for most of the afternoon, first we played Catchphrase (which I bought Tim for Christmas) which Tim and I won, then Cheat (which I won both games) then Sequence, which was good but kinda confusing and then Coleen and I played Spit which she kicked my ass at.

At about 4:30 we sat down to eat just the five of us and it was really nice. We had roast pork with sour kraut (a sort of sour cabbage thing which I tried but didn’t like), mash potatoes, corn, cauliflower and gramms rolls. I had some of everything but I didn’t like the gramms rolls or the sour kraut. By 5 we were finished eating, usually Christmas Dinners for me take hours so this was a welcome change.

After we’d cleared the table, Arlene headed for a well earned nap while Coleen and Harry faced off at Cribbage. I went for a shower and Tim was reading his book. I just got done having a shot of my tablet, it’s good but I think I’ll need a proper desk to lean on to get a proper try of it cos it’s hard doing it on my knee.

I’m gonna go wake Tim up now and see if he wants to play some Catchphrase or something with his Mom and Sis.
