On Tuesday Tim and I went over to Philly to watch the annual New Years Mummer’s Day parade, don’t ask me what Mummer’s means cos I don’t know. However the parade was pretty cool, we didn’t stay long though cos it was pretty nippy. We saw some of the last of the comics and then when we came back after going for coffee we saw a couple string bands and then we left.

On the train back to NJ though there was some people around us talking and the guy in front of us must’ve been about 50 and he was talking to the girl in front of him about his kids then he turned round to us, looked away, then looked again and says “So you guys are gay right?”. At the time of asking I had my arm around Tim and he was holding my hand so it was kind of obvious.

Apparently he was gay also because his kids had to drag him out of Woody’s, a gay bar in Philly. The guy was creepy though, he kept staring at me and I’m not being egotistical because Tim noticed it too.

Overall it was a fun and unique way to spend New Years day.
