Yesterday the clocks went forward, tomorrow is the first of April. Where does the time go? I think working all the time is making time go by much faster.
Which is good cos it means summer will come round quicker, but at the same time I sometimes feel like I’m just floating along not doing anything in life.
Now that the days are getting nicer I’m gonna try to start getting out to take photos more on my days off. I don’t start till 6 on Friday so I think before hand I’m gonna walk up to Waterfoot and take some pictures up there.
In other news, the UPShite man came for my 360 today. He was only an hour and half late though. Loser.
Ugh, work was a bitch tonight. But it’s over now and I’m off tomorrow, hurrah! Linzi wants me to go down to my work tomorrow for coffee, which’ll be interesting. I haven’t been as a customer since I started.
My 360 is getting picked up by UPShite tomorrow so hopefully it’ll be back and working in a couple weeks. Let’s also hope this time it lasts longer than a week.
I downloaded the Guillemots new album today and it’s pretty good. Some of the songs are kinda similar to the first album tho.
I’ve been playing Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core on my PSP the last couple days and it’s pretty fun. It’s the first ever Final Fantasy game I’ve played. It’s really homoerotic too.
I downloaded Ray LaMontagne’s latest album Till The Sun Turns Black the other day after hearing one of his songs in the film 27 Dresses.
I then discovered that the last track on the album, Within You, is a song I’ve been searching for for months! So I was pretty chuffed about that.
However the rest of the album is really good as well, much easier to like than his first.
One of the few PSP titles that I’m excited about is gonna be released in early May for only $10. Since it’s such a tiny price I would definitely pick it up legally.
However there’s two problems:
1) It’s a downloadable title and that requires either a PS3 or a PC to use the Playstation Store.
2) It’s probably gonna require the latest PSP firmware which I obviously don’t have cos I’ve got custom firmware.
So I don’t know whether I’ll be able to ever get it 
Which sucks cos it looks really cool.
In just three months time, I’ll no longer be a teenager. Why does this thought scare me so much?
I know I’m not getting old, but twenty just sounds so much older than nineteen. Your twenties is the time when you carve your path out in life and I don’t think I have a knife yet.
I finished Along Came A Spider the night before last and it was pretty good.
A couple of things about it annoyed me though.
The racial stuff was annoying, mostly cos I don’t ever think/judge people by their skin colour, and it just felt like filler and unnecessary. OK so the main character was black but does he really need to have a chip on his shoulder?
Maybe cos the book was written over ten years ago and things were different then I dunno. I just felt it was silly.
Secondly was the fact that they killed off the lady character. I thought it was a bit harsh, especially killing her partner in crime as he had a family and kids. Life in prison would’ve been a better punishment.
But overall it was a good book and I’d definitely read the other books in the series.
Well it was back to work today after a couple days off from being sick, though yesterday was actually one of my days off so I at least didn’t lose any pay over that.
I felt fine today, no head aches or sickness so I think it must’ve just been something I ate. Tho I wish to god I could work out what the hell it was. Mainly so I don’t go eating it again!
I’ve at least managed to make my hours up that I lost, and actually gained three more hours, which is good.
Though it means doing an eleven and a half hour shift on Saturday which is gonna be loads of fun and games. But comes next Friday it’ll be fun and games again I’m sure!
My 360 worked a second ago when I turned it on and then I turned it off to move the power supply, cos I think it’s overheating, and when I turned it back on it didn’t work. Piece. Of. Shit.
More annoying is that I don’t have any time off to get it picked up but I might speak to Derek and see if he could possibly give it to them if I get them to come out.
I was thinking about not bothering to send in my 360 since all my other games are working fine except the two it scratched, both of which were Tom Clancy games.
I was playing Bully for a good two hours earlier today and had no problem at all so I was gonna wait till Vegas 2 comes back and see what happens then.
Of course now I go to turn on my 360, it doesn’t boot up beyond the splash screen. So I have to send it in. And of course I don’t have any more days off this week so I don’t know how I’m gonna manage that.
Fun.
No not the fun kind of S&M, unfortunately this was the crap kind: Sick and Miserable.
Yesterday I got up and went to work, everything is fine. Got to work and I started feeling ill. An hour and half later and I ask to go home, something I’ve never done before, and a couple hours later I’m sick.
I hate being sick, I haven’t been sick since June 2005. Yesterday I was sick twice so I better not be sick again till at least 2010.
Anyway I was pretty much lethargic for all of yesterday and went to bed at 10PM. I resurfaced this afternoon, 14 hours later, at 2PM. Heh.
I feel fine today though so I don’t know what the deal was. I’m pretty pissed though cos I lost eight hours of pay.
