Long Way Down
I finished watching The Long Way Down tonight.
I really enjoyed it, I dunno if I liked it as much as Long Way Round though.
I think it was mainly because the majority of it was set in Africa which all sort of looks the same whereas Long Way Round went through loads of different countries in rapid succession.
That being said it was really fascinating to learn all the things about the different parts of Africa.
Some of the stuff that’s happened there is just atrocious and most of the time it never gets back here until it’s done and it just seems like we’re really shit.
Apparently they’re next gonna do ‘Long Way Up’ where they travel from the southern tip of South America to the norther tip of Canada or Alaska. Maybe they’ll go through Seattle!
I’m gonna wait a few months to read the book so that when I do I’ve sort of forgotten some of the things so it doesn’t feel boring to read about them.
