I realized today that I hadn’t ordered travel insurance yet so I went online to the site I normally use and was quoted £70 for my entire stay (until I was back home in Glasgow) or £56 until I got back to London a few days before.

I decided to do a bit of searching around since I always use the same one and wondered if there were any cheaper ones. Ten minutes later I had found a travel insurance search engine and discovered backpacker/long stay insurance.

I figured I fall into long stay since I’m away almost three months so I ordered that kind of insurance and it was £56 for the 91 days or £44 for the 88. I went with the latter.
