Iron Man

I went to see Iron Man yesterday with Chris and his boyfriend Andrew. Amazingly I really enjoyed it.
I don’t like the Iron Man comic character. Never have. But you just can’t help but like Robert Downey Jr.’s playboy take on Tony Stark.
Elsewhere the film takes a risk by being somewhat political. It succeeds at some and fails at other points but the fact that it is trying is a good sign.
This is the first superhero film released since Marvel went all out on the control of their movies, and really who wouldn’t after Spiderman 3, and it’s a strong start.
Can Hulk, Thor and Wolverine produce the same results?
(And in honour of how good the film was I’ve Iron Manned my desktops. Yes, both of them.
