Haller Lake
I took a walk round the corner to Haller Lake today. I’ve known it’s there for a while but never been bothered to go. It was nice today so I figured, why not?
To get there you go to the bottom of the street, but that was a private road so I didn’t think there was any public access. I was right.
To get there I had to walk halfway around the lake to a public road which ended in a little path leading down to the shore. Somebody had been there with their dog a few times and not taking baggies, vile person.
I thought I’d be able to walk all the way around the lake but it seems that the houses on the shoreside have private access to the beach which seems a little unfair. The houses were really big though so that must’ve paid a few bob for that privilege.
Anyway after I took some photos I walked along to Albertsons via the back roads. Some of the houses on that route are really rundown and then there’s ones next to them that are perfect. It’s weird.
