I kissed a girl and I liked it
I went with Xak and Domi downtown yesterday, it’s their last day in town and Xak wanted to take Domi on the Seattle Underground Tour down at Pioneer Square.
I’d already done the tour but I was going a bit stir crazy in the house so I figured I’d take my camera and go for a walk. The area around Pioneer Square is very picturesque, tho unfortunately the crazies have moved in and made it theirs.
I walked down to the waterfront and got some photos since it turned into a pretty nice day, if a bit cloudy. On the way back to meet Domi and Xak I stopped at Starbux and got a Mint Mocha Chip Frappucino which was really tasty, it was like ice cream.
We stopped at the store to pick up a few things (coffee creamer being one cos Tim stole ours) and then headed home. When Tim got home he wanted to go to the comic store so we all hopped in the truck and drove over, only to find out it shut at six on Tuesdays.
So he used his GPS on his phone to find another a couple streets away and we drove over there, shut also. Bah! So we headed home and fired up the grill for some burgers and brats.
After a very tasty dinner we sat down to watch The Orphanage which turned out to be pretty good, if a bit slow. The ending was really good tho.
Then things took a turn for the worse. Tim and Xak wanted to watch Once More, With Feeling (the musical Buffy episode) so they turned off the PS3 (The Orphanage was a Blu Ray disc) and fired up the 360. It froze while loading the disc and then when Tim switched it back on…..RROD! Yup, Tim’s Xbox is no more.
And I stupidly said a couple days ago that when it broke he could buy a new one. So that’s likely what we’ll be doing tonight.

No it does, but we ended up watching it on his DVD player. The PS3 upscales DVDs I believe which is kinda cool.

make him at least phone in and get the 360 fixed… you can’t let MS off the hook for that, and worst case he could sell it on ebay…
