I finished yet another Jeffrey Deaver book, my second in as many weeks.

This was the second book in the series so while I knew that certain characters were fated to live or die, I was still held in suspense when their lives were hanging in the balance.

The twist at the end of the book was very good and the action seemed to end but then there was a little jolt right at the end to keep up the pace right till the last page.

I’ve started my next book The Empty Chair and while it’s been a bit of a slow start I’m sure it’ll speed up soon enough, it’s a Jeffrey Deaver novel after all.
