A couple of Mac websites are reporting that Apple is gonna unveil OS X 10.6 at WWDC next week and it’ll be released at Macworld in January 2009. Now while Apple have released OS update in less time than that before, I just don’t see it happening.

Leopard has been incredibly successful and is just starting it’s lifespan, they could peddle it for at least two years I’d say. Why fix something that aint broken?

I do think that it would be cool to see what Apple has in store for 10.6 (which I vote to be named Cougar) but just as a very early idea, not an almost finished thing.

This years WWDC will be all about the 3G iPhone I think. It’s pretty much a cert it’s gonna be unveiled now. So what will Steve’s “…and one more thing” thing be?

I have no idea but I’m sure it’ll be good.
