The Empty Chair
I finished another book yesterday, Jeffery Deaver’s The Empty Chair. It was a bit slow until right at the end when there was loads crammed in. As far as the Lincoln Rhyme novels go I think it was definitely the weakest storyline.
I’ve started my next book, Jango by William Nicholson, which is the second part of a trilogy of books that I started early last year with a book called Seeker. It’s actually a kids book but I like them.
I ordered four more books from Amazon today. It was four for three and I also had enough of the gift card I got from James to get another book free so I only actually paid for two. Bargain!
I got Spin by Robert Charles Wilson which is a sci fi novel that Tim is listening to on audiobook which I’ve found sort of interesting.
I also got three more Jeffery Deaver books. The Stone Monkey is the last of the Lincoln Rhyme novels that I don’t have, Twisted is a collection of short stories and The Maiden’s Grave is another of his novels that sounded interesting.
If I continue reading a book a week like I have been so far (I’ve actually read four books in the three weeks I’ve been here) then I should be able to read them all before I leave.

Have you read Hero? It’s about a gay superhero coming to terms with his powers and being gay. I have it if you are interested and can send it with the package I am sending Frankie later this week.

I haven’t read it but I have more than enough books to be getting on with just now. Thanks though, I’ll add it to my wishlist.
