Bloc Party released their new album Intimacy for download last week so I downloaded it. I wasn’t all that impressed with their second album, A Weekend In The City, so I went into this one with less than optimistic expectations.

So it was with joy that I was pleasantly surprised at how much like Silent Alarm it was. Sure it still has some of the experimentalness of AWITC but it’s much closer to Silent Alarm in it’s sounds. I can see it being one of my top albums of the year.
