Simon Pegg’s next movie (after the blech of Star Trek) is a film called Paul starring himself and Nick Frost.

Of course past offering starring Pegg and Frost (Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz) have been awesome. However they’ve been directed and co-wrote by Edgar Wright, who isn’t on board for Paul.

Instead the film is being directed by Superbad director, Greg Mottola. The movie is about Pegg and Frost traveling across America getting into all sorts of fun adventures and hijinx.

So while Edgar Wright isn’t involved I’m still hopeful that the movie could be good. Though with Frost apparently being the lead and Pegg being the sidekick this time around, it could be quite a change from past endeavors.
