Dazzling smile

I had a dentist appointment this morning because I’ve been getting done toothache lately. Apparently everything is fine tho, I was worried I would have to get a filling but she says my teeth are in great condition. Which amazes me considering the amount of soda and candy I consume! But that’s stopping….albeit slowly.
I [...]

Broken toy soldier

So I heard from Tim and he’s mostly fine, just a sprained wrist and fractured ankle. He’s off work till Monday which is good, though he’s going a bit stir crazy cos he can’t play most of his games which he isn’t happy about.
I can’t believe that tomorrow is the first of November, that’s just [...]

Trundling train

I’m on the train into town at the moment to get Ross a birthday present since it’s his birthday today. Apparently he got a DS lite for his birthday so I’ll prolly get him a game for that.
I’m also gonna try and get some Christmas shopping started so I know how much money I [...]

Paris, Je T’aime

Next March I’m going to Paris for a week with Mum and maybe Ross and Gill. It’s the same place we went to in the Spring of ‘05. I can’t wait as the place is really picturesque but also I can get in some photos of Paris which is my second favourite city in the [...]

Back to the start

Ian Blair finally resigned from his position yesterday, three years and seven bullets after he should’ve. How he managed to hang on this long is beyond me.
I got paid today and transferred £50 across to my savings, I figure that’s a better idea than waiting to see how much I have left at the end [...]

Holiday plans

Tim’s coming to visit at Christmas and I’m sort of anxious about it. So I figure I would take a leaf from his book about talking more about my feelings and explain why.
Obviously I cannot wait to see him again and it’s gonna be awesome spending another Christmas with him. This’ll be our third Christmas [...]

Last flight to London Heathrow

I can’t believe it’s here, my last day in Seattle. I feel like I’m waiting for someone to should “Psych!” at me and tell me that going back to Scotland is actually a joke. It just doesn’t feel right, it feels like I’m gonna go out to the airport tonight and turn right back around [...]

I’m coming out

So apparently my Aunt outed me to my Grandparents last night. Of course she didn’t do it by purpose and it really doesn’t bother me.
I wasn’t hiding it from them but I figured at their age you never really know how they’re gonna take it. However if they’d asked me direct I wouldn’t have lied [...]

Loner in the home

Tim’s off in Chicago just now so I’m all alone in the house. It’s eerily quiet. I’ve taken the downtime to finish my book, Twisted, which was really good. I hope Jeffery Deaver releases another short story compilation soon.
I watched all of Dexter season one which I really enjoyed. That show is really well written [...]
