The first trailer for LocoRoco 2 has been released, and of course it looks totally mental. Can’t wait!

Sony and Nintendo caught up to Microsoft today with their E3 keynotes and as always there was excitement and disappointment abound.
I don’t know much of what Nintendo put out, mostly because I have little to no interest in what they’re putting out anymore. Sure Wii Fit is great and all but it’s not a game. [...]
I went load up a game of God of War at work today while I was on my break, only to discover the data was corrupt. Panic! But no I thought, I backed it up before we upgraded it. So off I troddled home after work and set about finding it on Time Machine and [...]
Today I met Chris for some coffee and he upgraded my PSP to the latest hacked firmware and so I can finally play Patapon.
And it’s brilliant! It’s adorable and cute and rhythmic and perhaps even cuter than Loco Roco.
Basically the game is a button masher, but you have to mash in time to a rhythm. [...]
Ugh, work was a bitch tonight. But it’s over now and I’m off tomorrow, hurrah! Linzi wants me to go down to my work tomorrow for coffee, which’ll be interesting. I haven’t been as a customer since I started.
My 360 is getting picked up by UPShite tomorrow so hopefully it’ll be back and working in [...]
One of the few PSP titles that I’m excited about is gonna be released in early May for only $10. Since it’s such a tiny price I would definitely pick it up legally.
However there’s two problems:
1) It’s a downloadable title and that requires either a PS3 or a PC to use the Playstation Store.
2) It’s [...]
I’ve been playing God of War: Chains of Olympus on the PSP and I have to see it’s one of the best games I’ve played in ages.
It’s also near identical to the PS2 incarnations in both scale and graphics which is no mean feat for a PSP game.

I met Chris for coffee today (how mature are we?) and after we had a chat he ‘modded’ my PSP with custom firmware so I can play downloaded games.
I tried it out with a couple games and it seems to all be working fine, though Patapon won’t work till I get 3.90 so I’m meeting [...]

Some interesting numbers come out of this Kotaku article, mainly that the Wii is selling like hotcakes while the PS3 is lagging just a little bit behind. In 2007 the Wii sold over six million consoles while the PS3 sold just two and a half million, the 360 is lodged in the middle with four [...]
