Trundling train

I’m on the train into town at the moment to get Ross a birthday present since it’s his birthday today. Apparently he got a DS lite for his birthday so I’ll prolly get him a game for that.
I’m also gonna try and get some Christmas shopping started so I know how much money I [...]

Back to the start

Ian Blair finally resigned from his position yesterday, three years and seven bullets after he should’ve. How he managed to hang on this long is beyond me.
I got paid today and transferred £50 across to my savings, I figure that’s a better idea than waiting to see how much I have left at the end [...]

Loner in the home

Tim’s off in Chicago just now so I’m all alone in the house. It’s eerily quiet. I’ve taken the downtime to finish my book, Twisted, which was really good. I hope Jeffery Deaver releases another short story compilation soon.
I watched all of Dexter season one which I really enjoyed. That show is really well written [...]

Skype

Right now I’m conference calling with Ross and Linzi via Skype. It’s pretty funny. Especially since Linzi’s mic is very quiet so we just pretend we know what she’s saying.
I think this is the first time we’ve all spoken since Ross left last year. Bizarre.

Christmas Tree - Part 2

Well we finally got around to decorating the tree last night. It looks pretty good. I put on my Starbucks cups that Frankie got me for Christmas last year as well as the two decorations Ross sent, a kangaroo and a koala bear.

Soccer Mom’s and their campaign against the world

The world is going to hell. In 50 years there won’t be any humans on this planet, there’ll just be mindless zombies rolling in their own shit. Why? Because we’ll all have become so afraid of not doing what’s “PC” (politically correct) and just stopped doing anything altogether. Our brains will slowly lose their higher [...]

Presents of t-shirts

A parcel arrived from Ross today, in it was my Christmas present, yey! So I opened it up (I was allowed to) and it was two t-shirts. Click the picture to see a bigger version and then click at the top right of the big picture to get a next button to see the second [...]

I have one last wish, and it’s from the heart

My mum and I went to Au Naturale yesterday (I didn’t buy anything though, yey me!) and on the way back we were in the car talking about Ross and Gillian because Linzi had been telling Mum that they’d both recently changed their relationship status from Single to something else. Anyway we were talking about [...]

But we’re never gonna survive, unless we get a little crazy

Did you remember to put your clock back? If you live in Britain then the clocks went back at 2AM this morning so remember to put your clocks that aren’t automatic back by one hour. For some strange reason America changed it so that they don’t go back for another couple weeks. Always gotta be [...]

Stop trying, I don’t want you, I don’t want to, you want me but I want to dance

I’m in the Lake District just now, it’s very pretty. The cabin is very nice, my room has an en suite which is fabulous. It’s just a normal bathroom (though I do love the sinks) but the fact that it’s attached to my bedroom and only accessible through there is so cool.
We went to [...]
